2014 Sigma Nu Clemson-SCar Game Ball Run

by -

Clemson’s Sigma Nu Fraternity and its presenting Sponsor PNC Bank are pleased to announce the kickoff of the annual Clemson-South Carolina Ball Run.

Since 1977 the members of both Clemson University and the University of South Carolina’s Sigma Nu Fraternity have participated in the annual Game Ball Run in which they complete a 138-mile trip with the football used in the annual gridiron matchup. The Game Ball run is a fundraising event for Clemson’s Sigma Nu’s philanthropy, Coach Swinney’s All in Team Foundation.

All proceeds raised by the Clemson Sigma Nu Chapter will go to the foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization based in upstate South Carolina. The mission of the foundation is "to raise awareness of critical education and health issues in order to change lives of people across the state of South Carolina."

This year’s run will take place on November 20th and 21st. Members from USC will leave Columbia Thursday afternoon Nov. 20 and the Clemson Sigma Nu participants will meet halfway in Greenwood around 4 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21. The run is scheduled to finish at the Clemson Football Indoor Facility at noon on Friday.

Questions and sponsorship inquiries can be made to SigmaNuGameBallRun@gmail.com.
