The College Football season is right around the corner as the Clemson Tigers will begin their road to defend their National Championship against underdog Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 2 in Death Valley. However, there are some other big-time games going on in 2017 and here are the some of the most expensive ones to watch in person according to the latest ticket sales, courtesy of StubHub.com.
Starting off if you have a cool $499 to spend, you can watch Georgia at Notre Dame on Sept. 9. The Alabama vs. Florida State game on Sept. 2 is the second most expensive game of the 2017 regular season at $422.
The Auburn at Clemson game on Sept. 9 is the 12th most expensive game coming in at an average price of $200. The Clemson at Virginia Tech on Sept. 30 at Lane Stadium is next up price-wise at $178. The Clemson games between Florida State and South Carolina are both averaging $171 to get into the door to watch.
Finally, Clemson at NC State on Nov. 4 is averaging $150 for a ticket to watch the game at Carter-Finley Stadium. It appears that away teams are cashing in on the Tigers' increased popularity with higher ticket prices to match the higher demand. Buyer beware -- be prepared to spend some serious coin this season to watch your Tigers on the road or just enjoy a frosty beverage with your favorite snack and cheer them on at home.
