CLEMSON - According to Clemson Sports Information incoming freshman Tymere

Zimmerman will not be attending Clemson this fall. Zimmerman had been waiting

on approval from the NCAA clearinghouse. It is not known what his plans are

at this time.

Zimmerman, who graduated from Marlboro County High School in Bennettsville, SC, in June 2001, played last season at Fork Union Prep School. He originally committed to Clemson in the fall of 1999.

Also, after practice today, Tommy Bowden said that starting

running back Bernard Rambert probably would not play against

Louisiana Tech. Rambert spent Monday's practice in the training room

treating a strained tendon in a foot. Starting guard Cedric Johnson

also missed the practice with a sprained ankle, but could return for

Saturday's game with Louisiana Tech.
