North Carolina is 66-22 all-time against the Wolfpack in Chapel Hill, including a 16-5 mark in the Smith Center ... NC State has won the last two games against UNC when the Tar Heels were ranked No. 1 in the AP poll. Georgia Tech at Miami Saturday's game marks the eighth meeting between the two teams ... Miami has won two in a row but still trails in the series 4-3 ... in the teams' only meeting a year ago, Jack McClinton scored 22 points as the Hurricanes pulled away late for a 90-82 victory in Coral Gables ... since joining the league, Miami is 3-0 in ACC home openers with all three wins coming against ranked foes.
