Moore also received scholarship offers from North Carolina, Clemson, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Purdue and Arkansas State. As a junior, he had 40 tackles and 3 sacks in a injury shortened year. He tore a ligament in his left ankle during the last game of the regular season. Illinois was the first to offer him. Clemson had offered Moore earlier in the year.
