As the handle might imply, My father (Class of '59) and his father (Class of '30) imbued in me a strong sense of dedication and pride in the University, as well as an ability to accept the foibles of the athletic department. As a youngster, I lived in Clemson during the Buddy Gore years and remember getting general admission end zone tickets for 25 cents.
I am presently in exile in New Jersey working for the federal government as a Census Bureau geographer. TigerNet is the most fantastic thing in the world for those of us in the Tiger diaspora.
OK guys, I used to work at the Esso Club on game days....it's chaotic, hectic, and fun in its own strange way; and I know what kind of a mess you guys can make. So, please try not to destroy the place and tip those hard working bartenders---they deserve it.
