According to the Orlando Sentinel:
Matt Jones,6-3, 210 pound running back from Seffner, Florida committed to the Florida Gators while attending their junior camp over the weekend. He went public on Monday night with the news. Many rate him as the top running back in the state of Florida. He rushed for 1,447 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior. “I grew up a Georgia fan and they were the top, but Florida just took over,” said Jones, who was on the UF campus Saturday for the Gators first Junior Day of the new recruiting period. “I just like Coach (Will) Muschamp. He’s a great guy and so is Coach Charlie Weis. They walked me through everything, me and my mom, and it was all great. “I like that pro style offense that they’ll be running up there. They said they don’t have a back like me.” Clemson had offered Jones for next year's recruiting class.
