The number of offers Clemson has issued to tight ends this season may be reaching a record high for Clemson. One prospect Clemson did not waste time offering was Columbus, Georgia's Bruce Figgins.

Clemson, Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida State, Georgia, Connecticut, and Duke have all offered Figgins.

"Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, and Florida State are my favorites. I am still open, but those four are my favorites. They are all good programs that have put a lot of time into recruiting me."

Figgins is being recruited by Clemson tight ends coach Billy Napier.

"Coach Napier seems like a really good coach. He has sent me a lot of mail and text messages. He talks to me about more than just football, and I like that."

The Tigers will work to get Figgins on campus this summer.
