Jamie Robinson - Defensive Back
Height: 6-3   Weight: 185   Hometown: Rock Hill, SC (Northwestern HS)   Class: 2005

Jamie Robinson made his first official visit this weekend to Florida State. Robinson said prior to the visit that he would not commit this weekend, and would wait until after he takes official visits to Clemson and Virginia Tech to make a decision.

"I did not commit to Florida State this weekend nor am I leaning anywhere right now. My player host was Lawrence Timmons. I had a good time down there. It was a really good visit."

Robinson will travel next weekend to Clemson for his second official visit, and then on January 21 he goes to Virginia Tech.

"What I like about Clemson is they have really good people there. The coaching staff seems very stable. Coach Blackwell has done a good job recruiting me. I like pretty much the same things about Virginia Tech as Clemson. They are really good people up there. Coach Danny Pearman is recruiting me for them."

Robinson has not received any in home visits from the three head coaches, and only has one scheduled as of this afternoon.

"Bobby Bowden is scheduled to come by my house the 23rd of January. The other head coaches haven't scheduled an in home visit yet. I will probably make my decision around the last week."

Clemson, Florida State, and Virginia Tech are firmly set as Robinson's top three.
