“I was shocked because [5-Star RB Henry has] been committed for so long,” Kamara told the AJC. “But I don’t blame him for it. In the end, you gotta make the right decision for you … not the coaches, not the fans, not anybody else but you.

“And I would say it helped UGA [with me]. No running back commits for 2013. That’s opportunity.”

Clemson offered him on 1/27/2012. As a junior, he had 1300 yards and scored 17 touchdowns. He took an unofficial visit to watch the Clemson-Georgia Tech game in 2011 in Atlanta. He has also been to Clemson, Georgia, and Alabama.
