ESPN: NR

Sam Pope is drawing interest from both Clemson and South Carolina. This summer he was able to attend camps at both schools.

"I really like the Clemson camp more than USC, because it was longer. I was able to learn more and get more work in with their coaches. We did several drills. The one on one session was really long. It gave me a chance to show the coaches what I can do."

While at Clemson, Pope was very impressed with the Clemson coaching staff.

"I really meshed well with the Clemson staff. Their staff really knows how to relate to the players. The personality make-up of the staff was very player friendly."

With the season near by, Pope is eager to get on the field and make an impression.

"I learned a lot at the camps that will help me this season. I really want to impress some people this year. I have worked really hard in the off-season. We had a young team last year, and this year we have a lot of players returning. I am expecting a big season."
