Earlier on Thursday, TigerNet received word that the Clemson staff has backed off Clemson RB commitment Marlin Lane but apparently Lane has not given up on being a Tiger.
"I committed there as a sophomore and have been up there three times," Lane told ESPN's Jamie Newberg. "I love Clemson and I want to play at Clemson. I have loved them my entire life. I even have a Clemson tattoo on my shoulder."
