We confirmed Sunday afternoon that Jamal Medlin had committed to Clemson during his official visit. Medlin said it all came down to comfort.
“My visit was pretty good. I just felt comfortable at Clemson. I really had a lot of fun.” Medlin was hosted by Cory Lambert and he was recruited by Coach Burns. “Me and Cory got along real well. We went to the basketball game. It was a good game. I thought the crowd really got into it.” Medlin had been looking into visiting South Carolina, NC State, and Penn State. “Penn State came on late, but I will not take any more visits. I will sign with Clemson.” Medlin had a chance to sit down with offensive line coach Brad Scott before he left Clemson. Scott discussed what they had in mind for Medlin. “Right now, Coach Scott wants me to play right tackle. I might play some at guard too, but they will start me out at right tackle.
