Clemson is always looking for top talent in their offensive backfield. They hope that they can again land another great running back again out of the state of Georgia.
Mike Davis is the younger brother of former Clemson great, James Davis who now plays in the NFL for the Washington Redskins. According to Chad Simmons of Fox Sports: "Mike Davis could be best pure RB in GA in 2012. Good balance, vision, & cut-back ability." Clemson has already offered Davis for next year's 2012 class as well as Florida, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Maryland, USF, Tennessee, UCF, and Vanderbilt. Some reports have the Gamecocks as an early leader.
