Clemson 2015 point guard commit Ty Hudson from Mableton, GA was named a first-team all-state honoree in Class 6A. Hudson was second-team all-state and an All-Metro selection in 2014 at Pebblebrook High School.
Hudson is one of the craftier point guard prospects in the South with his tough and physical guard play. He had offers from Clemson, Georgia State, Houston, Kansas State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, South Florida, UAB, Western Kentucky, Xavier and others. As a junior, he averaged 17.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. His team finished with a 24-6 record on the season.
