Romeo Finley committed to Miami over his other finalists Clemson and Georgia Tech on Tuesday evening according to his Twitter account.
TigerNet talked to Finley earlier on Tuesday and he discussed what he liked about all three finalists. "I like Clemson cause of how close the program is and its very family oriented," Finley said. "I like Georgia Tech cause they provide the best academics, and the city is beautiful, and I like Miami because the campus is super nice and it's a fresh new staff. All have positive vibes." Miami was his favorite school growing up so this was somewhat expected. TigerNet also spoke with Finley back when he took an official visit to Clemson back last week. "The thing that really stood out was how everyone is so close," Finley said. "I went to the banquet yesterday, and a lot of the leaving seniors and captains talked about the coaches and the Clemson family. It was pretty cool how everybody is so tight. It's such a family. All In - their saying isn't fake. It's very real. They are a big family. At Clemson, they have a really good coaching staff, and they're all behind you. They just want the best for their players. I can definitely see that they have a great time at Clemson." Finley had offers from Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, N.C. State, South Alabama, South Carolina, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tennessee and others. As a sophomore, he had 33 tackles and an interception for a touchdown. Clemson has also offered his high school teammate DB/WR Eli Stove. #Swag16 ???? pic.twitter.com/orpNIB0pvd Here are some freshman highlights below of Romeo Finley.
