According to an interview with the AJC, Raekwon McMillian has Alabama and Ohio State as his leaders, with "Clemson up there, too.”
He also talked about visiting Clemson during the 2013 Dabo Swinney football camp and having friends that have already committed to Clemson. “Clemson gives off the family vibe. And with Coach (Dabo) Swinney, they are a program on the rise. They (won the 2011 ACC Championship). They finally beat LSU last year in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. They’ve got a dynamic duo of Sammy Watkins and Tajh Boyd. They are an offensive-minded team but they’re trying to recruit guys like me to play some heavy defense, too.” How much of an influence will they[Deshaun Watson, Demarre Kitt, Milan Richard] have on your final decision? “Not really much. Because at the end of the day, every single one of those guys who are my friends, they are offensive players. And I’ve to go look out for myself on defense. I can’t leave myself out there like that. Yeah, they can put up 70 points but what if we’re giving up 40 points? It’s not going to be good.”
What was your impression of Clemson after visiting?
