WATCH: Ben Boulware called for targeting on QB

Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware received a penalty for targeting late in the second quarter with his shoulder hit on the Boston College quarterback Patrick Towles.

After the review, Boulware did not get the flag for targeting and the ball went over to Clemson as Dexter Lawrence recovered the fumble.

Towles said the following after the game about Boulware's hit.

"Well, he made a really good play," Towles said. "I've got to do a better job with ball security, try to make him miss. I probably should have just ran through him, but he's a heck of a football player, and great football players make great plays like that. But that's my fault, I have to be better with the football."
