according to the Washington Post. The Wizards would have had to sign him to a deal worth 4.67 million range because of the amount of minutes that he logged this past season.

Booker will be an unrestricted free agent and be able to sign with another NBA team without the Wizards getting any compensation for losing him.

For the 2013-2014 season, Booker averaged 6.8 points and 5.3 rebounds a game for the Wizards.
