"The beautiful thing about Hunter Renfrow. You talk about a team that went crazy when this young man got this scholarship. The message with him as I told them team is he kind of looks like the trainer or something. But don't judge a book by its cover. This kid can flat out play. He can flat out play here or anywhere. This guy is going to have an excellent career at Clemson. He can fly. He is explosive. He has great ball skills. He is gifted football IQ wise, and our team knows that. When you look at him, you would never think that this is a football player, but that is the beautiful thing about football. Football players come in all shapes and sizes. It's what makes this great game so awesome. Here is a young guy that has come out here and grinded and earned the respect of all his teammates and is going to play and going to help us win as a redshirt freshman. There is no doubt about it. Proud of him."

Hunter Renfrow will add depth at the wide receiver and punting positions and in the return game.
