Swinney announces QB starter for Georgia St |
Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney said at his Tuesday press conference that senior quarterback Cole Stoudt will start against Georiga State.

Cole StoudtCole Stoudt Swinney said Stoudt was the offensive MVP a few weeks ago and before that he won the Leather helmet as MVP of the BC game and just had a bad game against Georgia Tech. "He has given four years of his live to this school," Swinney said. "He was always ready and every time we needed him he was ready. Has he lost a little confidence this year? Yes. But at the end of the day we are family." Swinney said backup Nick Schuessler could see some time on Saturday. "We hope to play Nick [Schuessler], we want to get him time," Swinney said. "The more experience he can get the better. But we hope to play him and I was proud of him Saturday. He's really improved."
