Salaries released for two new Clemson coaches |
The salaries of Clemson’s two newest football coaches have been released.
Clemson football and head coach Dabo Swinney brought in Loganville (GA) Grayson head coach Mickey Conn as senior defensive assistant and Rock Hill (SC) Northwestern head coach Kyle Richards as senior offensive assistant. With the addition of two new coaches comes two new salaries, so how much will they be making? TigerNet has learned that Conn will make $90,000 per year and Richardson will make $85,000 per year. The move was one that Swinney had wanted to make for quite some time, and he said he was appreciative of the support that allowed him to bring two of the Southeast’s most successful high school coaches. “I'm really appreciative that the administration gave me the opportunity to bring those guys. The big thing that I really wanted is that I wanted to hire two head high school coaches - not just two high school coaches but two guys who really fit here and two guys that are winners,” Swinney said. “They're state champions. They've coached at really big schools. They've dealt with leadership issues and managed players and staffs and parents and all of that stuff that comes with being a head coach, but particularly at the high school level.”
