Report: Sammy Watkins to have another surgery

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson standout Sammy Watkins had a pedestrian 2016 season with 28 receptions on 52 targets for 430 yards and two touchdowns in eight total games as he has been hobbled by lingering foot problems all season.

He is a game changer for the Bills if he can stay healthy but has battled health issues since he has been in the professional ranks.

Buffalo News reporter Tim Graham is reporting that Watkins will have surgery on his broken left foot for a second straight offseason to try to fix the issue.

Watkins has 153 catches for 2,459 yards and 17 touchdowns in three seasons with Buffalo.
