remains ahead of schedule in his recovery from a torn ACL and the Clemson product is expected to take part in off-season conditioning work this spring. (Jarvis Jenkins) The Redskins drafted Jenkins with the 41st overall pick in the 2011 draft. The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder was battling for the starting left defensive end job during the preseason but tore his ACL in Washington’s preseason game at Baltimore. He has spent the entire season on injured reserve, recovering from surgery and working to regain strength in his knee. Jenkins’ recovery has gone well. In late October, defensive coordinator Jim Haslett estimated that if Jenkins had not been placed on injured reserve, he probably could have returned to action by December.
