2017 shortstop Elijah Henderson from Taylors, South Carolina (Blue Ridge HS) has committed to Clemson on Wednesday afternoon according to his twitter account.

Henderson was named a top Diamond Prospect in South Carolina by thediamondprospects.com and will be playing in their 8th annual Palmetto Games.

He plays for the Southern Athletics summer team.

In 2014 in 12 games, he batted .429 with four homeruns and 16 RBIs.

This continues some hot baseball recruiting for new coach Monte Lee with 3 commits (2017 1B/OF Matthew Cooper, 2017 catcher Drew Donathan and 2017 2B Elijah Henderson) since Monday.
