GT announces whiteout game against Clemson |
The 2016 Thursday night ESPN contest between Clemson and Georgia Tech on September 22 at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia has been announced as a whiteout game for the fans, student-athletes, etc.
In 2015, Deshaun Watson finished the game with 265 yards and two touchdowns as Clemson defeated Georgia Tech 43-24 in Death Valley. The Clemson defense held the Yellow Jackets option offense to only 71 yards on the ground.
Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 50-28-2 with the longest winning streak of 15 between the years of 1908-1934. However, Clemson has won four out of the last six contests.
