Andre Ellington He tweeted after his procedure: "Surgery went well. Thanks for your support and prayers." Ellington also had to deal with a torn tendon in his left foot and a hip flexor issue during the NFL season. For the season, Ellington still ran for a respectable 660 yards and three touchdowns. He also showed his all around game with 395 yards catching out of the backfield and two touchdowns. was placed on the season-ending injured reserve list with a sports hernia on Sunday. He flew to Philadelphia on Monday to have surgery today on a hernia injury.
