was carted off the field on Thursday with a lower right leg/knee injury according to multiple sources. Rex Ryan said that he was unsure of the severity of the injury after practice.

Freeman is questionable for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. He was an undrafted free agent for the Jets back in 2013.

At Clemson, Freeman was a four-time Academic All-ACC selection, two time first-time All-ACC on the field, two time Rimington Award Finalist, and first-team All-American by the Football Coaches Association.
