by - Senior Writer -

Former Clemson defensive tackles D.J. Reader and Carlos Watkins are listed as first and second on a Houston Texans depth chart released this week. Former Clemson receiver DeAndre Hopkins is also listed as the starting wide receiver and former Clemson signal caller Deshaun Watson is listed as Tom Savage's backup at quarterback.

Reader is listed as the starting nose tackle in the Texans' 3-4 defense, with J.J. Watt at one end spot and former South Carolina star Jadeveon Clowney at the other end spot. Reader played in all 18 games with the Texans last season, with 25 total tackles and a sack.

Watkins was the No. 142 overall pick (fourth round) by the Texans in May.
