Clemson projected in the CFB Playoffs

Sportingnews.com has released its Bowl Projections for Week 4 of the 2015-2016 College Football season and Clemson was projected to play in the college football playoff semi-finals at the 2015 Goodyear Cotton Bowl vs. Ohio State in Dallas, TX on Dec.31.

The Tigers defeated Ohio State 40-35 in the 2014 Orange Bowl with Sammy Watkins earning MVP honors with a record-setting 16 catches for 227 yards.

The other playoff projection according to Sportingnews.com includes Georgia vs. TCU in the Orange Bowl. Ohio State vs. Georgia is their prediction for the national title game.

Other ACC schools included in the bowl game projections are Georgia Tech (Tax Slayer Bowl), Duke (Pinstripe Bowl), Louisville (Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl), Miami (Sun Bowl), North Carolina State (Belk Bowl), Florida State (Russell Athletic Bowl), Virginia Tech (Military Bowl), North Carolina (Independence Bowl) and Pittsburgh (St. Petersburg Bowl).

Also, Notre Dame is predicted to face Houston in the Vizio Fiesta Bowl and South Carolina is projected to play Connecticut in the Birmingham Bowl.
