*Note - If Clemson wins the ACC Championship, they will end up in one of two destinations for the College Football Playoffs - Capital One Orange Bowl (#1 vs. #4) or the Goodyear Cotton Bowl (#2 vs. #3).

The Orange Bowl Committee announced that the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl is officially sold out. The game will either feature No. 1 vs. No. 4 or No. 2 vs. No. 3, and will be played on New Year’s Eve, December 31, at either 4 p.m. or 8 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium. The participating teams and starting time will be announced Sunday, Dec. 6 on ESPN, beginning at 12:30 EST.

The capacity of Sun Life Stadium for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl will be 66,524, including temporary seating that is being added in the four corners of the newly modernized Sun Life Stadium.

“The response for tickets has been outstanding, and because of the strong demand we had to be creative in providing additional seating,” said Dawson Hughes, Orange Bowl Vice president, Business Development. “We had an unprecedented display of loyalty from our annual patrons with a renewal rate of 93% this year. It shows the importance of attending the Capital One Orange Bowl year after year to ensure tickets for these important playoff games.”

This is the first year the Capital One Orange Bowl will host a College Football Playoff Semifinal. Over the next 11 years, the Capital One Orange Bowl will host a Playoff Semifinal every three years.

Fans with tickets are advised to purchase parking passes in advance to guarantee a space in the Stadium lot and save $15. General parking passes are $25 in advance and $40 on game day. In addition to a parking pass, no one will be admitted to the grounds on game day without a verified game ticket.

Tickets are still available for the Capital One Orange Bowl Fan Fest presented by the Capital One Venture Card, held prior to the Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl in the South Parking Lot of Sun Life Stadium. Fan Fest will feature the best of pregame festivities, including a live performance by a major recording artist, interactive games and exhibits, a wide variety of food and beverages, and performances by team bands, cheerleaders and local talent. Admission to the Capital One Orange Bowl Fan Fest presented by the Capital One Venture Card is $20 if purchased in advance or $25 if purchased on game day. Admission is not included in the ticket price for the Playoff Semifinal.
