ROOSEVELT “ROSEY” SNIPES, Sarasota, class of 1981 As a senior in 1980, Snipes ran for 1,512 yards on 238 carries scored 18 touchdowns. No 3. TOMMIE FRAZIER, Manatee, graduated in 1992 Frazier was an All-America quarterback at Nebraska, leading the Cornhuskers to back-to-back national championships. No 4. SHAWN BANE, Riverview, class of 1994 Bane ran for 800 yards in eight games as a freshman under coach John Sprague. No. 5. ADRIAN MCPHERSON, Southeast, graduated in 2001 McPherson was the only person to win Mr. Football and Mr. Basketball in Florida in the same season. No. 6.
