Beasley named NFL's Most Improved Player |

Vic Beasley was named the NFL's Most Improved Player on Friday by the Pro Football Writers of America.
For the season, Beasley has 39 tackles, 15.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and two pass deflections. The Falcons and Beasley will play the Green Bay Packers in the NFC title game on Sunday at 3 pm ET. In two NFL seasons, he has 65 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 8 forced fumbles, and five pass deflections. He will start at outside linebacker for the NFC in the Pro Bowl on Jan. 29th. In other award news, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson won the award for comeback player of the year.
