Swinney listed as one of Spring's top five recruiters |
Dabo Swinney was listed as one of
Spring's top recruiters in college football according to ESPN's Jeremy Crabtree.
No school relied on early commitments in the 2015 class more than Clemson. Swinney inked 13 players to financial aid agreements in August, and 14 eventually enrolled for the spring semester for the Tigers. Swinney knows how to build the foundation of a class in the spring, and don't be surprised if we see more of the same with the 2016 class. The Tigers already have seven pledges, including ESPN Junior 300s Tavien Feaster, Zerrick Cooper and Tavares Chase. That number will surely climb to double digits in the coming months. (via ESPN.com) Clemson's current 2016 recruiting commits are RB Tavien Feaster, WR T.J. Chase, QB Zerrick Cooper, TE J.C. Chalk, OG Sean Pollard, LB Jamie Skalski and WR Cornell Powell. Swinney is currently 61-26 (.701) in seven seasons (six full seasons) at Clemson with a 39-14 (.736) in ACC regular-season games. The other four head coaches included for their recruiting prowess - Al Golden, Jim Harbaugh, Les Miles and Rich Rodriguez.
