is now 9th on the Belt career passing list & needs 319 yards to move past Troy Smith of Ohio State. Boyd is 9th on the Belt career touchdown passes list with 18 trailing Chase Daniel of Missouri by 1. Boyd was helped by 5 touchdown passes against North Carolina which ties for the 4th best total in a Belt game. The Tigers are 25-49-2 against Georgia Tech but they won last season's meeting 27-13.

Clemson won the college football belt by defeating Auburn and will once again be putting its championship belt up against Georgia Tech this weekend.
