Mike Williams denies season-ending surgery report

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson wide receiver Mike Williams helped out at Alshon Jeffery's first annual football camp over the weekend.

Earlier this week, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter reported that Williams might need season-ending back surgery on his injured herniated disk.

Williams told reporters on Saturday that Schefter had some bad information and everything is OK.

"I'm good. Everything good. The back situation. That was some false information being released," Wiliams said. "I don't know who released it, but everything is good."

Williams and Jeffery had a light-hearted moment with the Clemson-South Carolina rivalry in the following video.
