The state of South Carolina had 4 players on ESPN's Top 300 recruits. The Gamecocks didn't sign a single one (Clemson 2, UGA 1, & Ohio St 1)

Clemson signed LB Ben Boulware and WR Mike Williams from the state of South Carolina. The other two ESPN 300 players were Tramel Terry [Georgia] and Michael Hill [Ohio State].
