Clemson football moved up two spots in the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranking.

The Tigers were ranked No. 5 preseason and jumped two spots to No. 3 after one week of action.

Week two opponent Auburn dropped one spot, from No. 12 to No. 13 after its 41-7 home win over Georgia Southern. Florida State saw one of the biggest falls from No. 3 to No. 10 after losing to Alabama and losing its starting quarterback Deondre Francois for the season (knee).

Clemson has equaled or outperformed its preseason ranking each of the last six years under Dabo Swinney.
