The 35 point first half was the spark Tigers' fans needed to see after an uncharacteristic performance against Virginia Tech the week before. The record-breaking win - which also reversed the aforementioned trends - displayed Tajh Boyd at his best. Seeing Boyd follow his worst passing game of the season (12-for-21, 160 yards, one touchdown, one interception) with his best (27-for-38, 428 yards, five touchdowns, no interceptions) on a short week road trip is an encouraging sign as the Tigers head down the stretch of the ACC schedule.
