CBS: ACC Poll Reactions |
From CBSSports:
The 35 point first half was the spark Tigers' fans needed to see after an uncharacteristic performance against Virginia Tech the week before. The record-breaking win - which also reversed the aforementioned trends - displayed Tajh Boyd at his best. Seeing Boyd follow his worst passing game of the season (12-for-21, 160 yards, one touchdown, one interception) with his best (27-for-38, 428 yards, five touchdowns, no interceptions) on a short week road trip is an encouraging sign as the Tigers head down the stretch of the ACC schedule.
Clemson overcame some demons with their Thursday win at Wake Forest. The Tigers entered the game only 1-9 in Thursday night nationally televised games - including a loss at Wake Forest in 2008.
