Clemson, SC - The 2006 season-opening game between Clemson and Florida Atlantic at Memorial Stadium on September 2 will kickoff at 3:30 PM EDT. The game had been announced as a non-televised 1:00 PM start, but ESPNU has selected the game for broadcast, thus causing the move to a 3:30 PM start.

It will be the season-opener for both teams and will be the first-ever meeting between the Tigers and the Owls.

Clemson will have at least three games televised by the ESPN family of networks this year. The Florida State game in Tallahassee on September 16 will be televised by ESPN, and the Virginia Tech game on October 26 will be a part of the network's Thursday night package.
