'Perception outgrows reality" the end of the SEC era. link

A very good article on what we've known for some time, ESPN refuses to acknowledge and what USAToday reveals as painfully obvious....the end of the SEC era:
The BCS computer was designed to thrive on the preseason rankings. Right now that's all that props Bama's one loss to a three loss team. As the season progressed and SEC (queen of cupcake out of conference schedules) played each other the story line was "None stand up to the SEC. They beat each other up." That kept them all in the top of the polls. Even the POC fell for that chit last year.
When the bowl results came in the committee got embarrassed with their first clue as to how much preseason rankings bear on their poll.
There was no SEC champ in the last NC game. Bama got knocked on their ### and eliminated in the first round. The entire BCS was a sham perpetrated on football and fans by ESPiN and the SEC.
