...I'm all in.
I'd love to do it on the Religion and Philosophy board.
I teach a Bible Study every sunday morning in my church (Sunday School) and start every lesson with a video of a song I download from youtube. (Some weeks I do two or three.)
I've probably downloaded 200 songs from youtube and I add more constantly.
I don't want to clutter up the football board with them, but I'm all in if we do it on the Religion board.

I did the same thing for my Sunday school. I tried to fit the song to the lesson. I introduced the class to songs and gospel music artists they had never heard.
I love gospel music and go to lots of Southern Gospel concerts.
I'm all in to post on Religion board. That group of philosophers over there need to take a break and listen to some goid music.😁😁

I have absolutely nothing against Christian music, but when speaking about music, I absolutely love that Old time Rock & Roll!!! God bless old rock & roll musicians!!!

... go to youtube and search for Booth Brothers, Ernie Haas, Bill Gaither. They sing a lot of traditional southern gospel with more modern arrangements (similar to Blessed Assurance posted in another thread hear) but keep the tight harmony associated with "old time gospel music."

You can not go wrong with The Cathedrals. Their reunion albums on you tube are really great. The early Kingsnen Quartet, and the Stamps are really good. I also think the Hoppers are great as well as The Collininswort family. The Older Hoppers with Claude and Connie Hopper. Kim Hopper is one of the best female southern gospel singers today. The earlier Gold City group with Ivan Parker was good.
I don't think today anyone can beat The Gaither Vocal Band, especially the era of David Phelps, Mark Lowery and Michael King.

The Gaithers are awesome and Gloria Gaither has a fantastic solo voice. As a kid a remember getting up on Sunday morning getting ready for Church listening on TV to those Southern Gospel Quartet’s.

Her are a few The Chuck Wagon quartet, The Blue Ridge Quartet, and so many my grandparents use to play.
If Elvis had been able to choose the music her loved it would have been Gospel.

Sorry, but those who are lost do not visit the religious board.
This board may very well be our mission field. Our Lord Jesus has no limits as to where He may go.
Consider the lost and who may be found with a simple post of a song with good news.
It’s easy to scan past these posts, but not always easy to come to the Lord.
Let’s be encouragers to those who are seeking, but don’t know what they’re
looking for-Jesus, the Christ!
I’m encouraged by the posts, because the world needs more of this, and less of
the other. Peace out.

I always choose the Amphitheater to post the songs. I do not consider that the football board. I always choose the correct board for my posts. I have no control over how they are then categorized and what board they pop up on.I agree, I doubt any non religious person clicks on the religion board.

I'm all for spreading the gospel among the lost. I'm just leery of "cross contaminating" message boards. 20+ years ago I was on a Seminole Message board. We talked football and occasionally dabbled in politics. Within about 5 years, politics destroyed the board.
I understand this site has many boards. I understand not all posts on the football board talk about football. (I've learned a lot about Clemson hoops from reading this board. I know it is filled with baseball posts during games. Etc.) I read and respond to almost every post asking for prayer.
And, while I haven't spent a lot of time on the religion and philosophy board, I see a lot of lost people posting there. (Some, if not most, are openly antagonistic to Christianity.)

I vote for the amphitheater board. When you click on boards, a selection of boards to choose from for your post appears. I scroll down to Amphitheater and select it for my post. I'm sure you know this but others may not.

Brett, you are a southern gentleman and a gentle Christian. While others would shout out..."WRONG BOARD, MORON!!", you simply start by respectfully accepting what others have posted and offer a gentle encouragement to continue doing it but in a more acceptable place. I'm sure the Lord is proud of the candle you continually set on a hill!! And His points are much more important than any I might give you on this blog.
