Clemson's annual All In Cookout is slated for July 17th and some elite talent is scheduled to be on hand. Highly touted LB Tre Lamar is expected to be there and his decision could occur on that day. Most feel it's between Auburn or Clemson. DE Xavier Kelly is planning on going to the All In Cookout and would like to bring his mother along to show her what he sees in Clemson. Though his recruitment has been rather quiet, star DL Nyles Pinckney has expressed his interest in attending the event as well. He was on hand for the Clemson vs scar game and attended scar's junior day. It would appear as if this is another in state battle.
John Simpson has still yet to decide between the All In Cookout or attending UGA's Dawg Nights. While most expected Diondre Overton to be in Clemson on the 17th- we've learned that it isn't going to happen. He'll be at Tennessee with his step father but don't fret! This trip was slated prior to the known date of the Cookout.
It is anticipated that Clemson WR commit TJ Chase will be on hand as well. I still have yet to confirm who could potentially be accompanying him to Clemson. Wouldn't it be nice if Chase would be joined by DE Shavar Manuel and DB Saivion Smith?!
Another note I'd like to pass along is in regards to OL EJ Price. He's been in heavy contact with Michigan and has sent them a few "Shout outs" via Twitter; including one yesterday. CB prospect Damar Hamlin also appears to doing the same with Penn State and it wouldn't surprise me to see him in a Nittany Lion's uniform. Another CB, Jacob Morgenstern, recently committed to Duke. In regards to another defensive back prospect, and for what it's worth, Robbie Robinson tells me that he was wearing a Clemson hat on Sunday. Just passing that along.
Other teams have caught on to the cookout. They have started the same thing and call up recruits and try to schedule visit during that day. It's not has easy to get player to it now.
