We used to tailgate in the lot across the street from the smoke stacks (Klugh). I understand expanding the school and making things better for the students, but I was really disappointed that with all of the Engineering knowledge this school produces, we couldn't find a way to build and still leave the 100+ year old trees that lined Klugh Avenue.
Just whining! I'd hate to see the rest of the campus stripped of beautiful trees like these for more concrete and buildings. Surely there was a work-around that could have saved those trees.
Hoping the people in charge do a little more work for the preservation of the green areas that make Clemson the beautiful campus it is!
I agree wholeheartedly. There isn't much on this earth as beautiful as a healthy 100 + year old tree. And I feel that we should have laws to protect anything that has survived man kind for a 100 years!!!

How about a lifetime extension for my Mom's IPTAY membership. She's 100.
