the price of a ticket to a college football game---particularly one as important/popular as the Clemson/usuck game--- isn't going to get any cheaper in the foreseeable future....although there was a newly opened gas station in Chucktown that was selling gas yesterday for $1.98 per gal. (just a grand opening promo, surely)

But, I remember vividly telling a significant other--when working out a yearly budget--that I'd need several hundred dollars for IPTAY dues, Football and Basketball tix....and it just doesn't seem that long ago, either. She, of course, scoffed at the necessity for such an expenditure.
