2nd half playcalling can also be contributed to first down

production...
When you don't get production on 1st down, you get behind the chains and the defense has the advantage.
If you get behind the chains against Pruitt, you are in trouble. Once we got in second and 3rd and long, that's when mistakes are made, balls are forced, and TO's happen. That's another reason Chad was so conservative.
I think, if anything, he would change some of his first down calls moreso than when we were behind the chains.

who was calling the first down plays? I never said that the so called counter plays had to be called on 2nd and 3rd downs now did I? Sorry but he got thoroughly out coached in the 2nd half and then didn't try other things that might have worked or could have worked because what he was doing was clearly not working. That is the point
