the team that won the election is being called "racist, bigoted, intolerant, and stupid" by the team that lost... even though they lost because the last 8 years have been "racist, bigoted, intolerant, and stupid"?

How did the system work if the person with the most votes lost?
Can't explain that.

If you bothered to take time and learn history, there's a reason the Founders set it up that way. If there were no Electoral College, the state's with the population would control the country. It would ACTUALLY disenfranchise MILLIONS of people, their voice wouldn't count.

My vote hasn't ever counted b/c GA is always won by a republican and all of the electoral votes go to the winner. If we had a system based on the popular vote, my vote would actually count.

I voted for President and many other local elections on Tuesday. I won a few and lost in others. Which votes didn't count based on your hypothesis?

My vote for President.

It has never counted.
Of course, I live in a VERY conservative county in GA. I was given less than a handful of options. Most local races were incumbent republicans running unopposed. I simply didn't cast a vote in those.
Voted on 4 questions and actually won on 3 of them. The populous was too stupid to understand the third one.

I live in Georgia as well.
My county flipped this year because of demographic change. A couple of the positions were filled with highly experienced, state-recognized and awarded public servants. They were voted out of office and replaced by people who have no experience simply because they have a D by their name, not because the people whose position they were taking had failed the public. So I can agree with you on the stupidity of the voter.
Nevertheless, there is a reason that we don't want the more populous cities and states to be able to pick the president. In that case, many people's vote in rural areas would indeed NEVER count. You do realize that if that was the case, Republicans would not need to run for president ever because of people like I have in my county that sent qualified people home who were doing a good job simply because they aren't a member of the party that they have been indoctrinated into believing has their best interests at heart.
You said your vote has never counted? Supposing you voted democrat in previous elections, were you upset that your vote "didn't count" last time around? Maybe you are too young, but if you voted in Georgia in 1992, it went democrat.

You seem to think that when things don't go your way, it's because those who oppose you are stupid.
Pro tip for you, and this one's free----the guy who consistently thinks he's the smartest one in the room, usually isn't.

A pure democracy is a one way street to oppression. You probably wouldn't be whining if Hillary got elected without the popular vote.

I for one am upset at the black athletes and other normal people that believe the country is out to get them and does nothing for them. I have many black friends and there is good and bad for all white black or any color but when you have cities the way they are and musicians that rap about shooting and dealing drugs that is the voice people hear and it makes it hard for some to not be racist. Sometimes seeing the truth is not racist. Obviously most on here are not racist seeing we support a football team made up of mostly African American players

Racism goes both ways. When you alienate a segment of the population and effectively tell them that their voice doesn't matter bc of the color of their skin (white or black) that's racism. What did we witness for 8 years? An administration bent on doing anything possible to only help the minorities in this country (African-American, Hispanics, LGBT, etc), not trying to say that they are not relevant, but that is just as bad as only helping whites. The irony is the feelings they on left feel now about "being left out" is the same thing the other side felt for 8 years, only the right isn't allowed on feel left out, the right was called racist for their feelings of alienation.

I think both sides have racists, but only a small % of both, so when you say the last 8 years have been "racist...intolerant..", it's ironic that you call it ironic or is deja vu all over again?
