I know I'm in the minority by saying that I hope that isn't true. This kid suffers from a serious lack of guidance and he consistently makes poor poor decisions. It's a shame because he could have such a bright future. But if it's true, he deserves to be in prison.

TMZ has a stellar reputation.

It's somewhere just below that of the National Enquirer. When I first saw the link I figured JW was pregnant with an alien's baby and it had to be shaved to investigate it's gender.

No, I wouldn't be surprised. When I call the kid a narcissist I am not exaggerating. He fits the profile perfectly. He's close to being an idiot savant.
Of the many allegation brought against JW this is the most unsubstantiated. They insult the validity of the other charges.

Based on his proven lack of judgment - sounds plausible, but would still be over the top stupid. Can you imagine this guy getting a $10M signing bonus??

The rape thing ended up not being true, right?

And the autographs? I'm sure this is false too. What an ESPN witch hunt.

So he supposedly tanked the first half

then came back to cover the spread in the 2nd half, but the comeback allegedly didn't affect his HS buddy's bet. Can you bet on a halftime score or something? I guess there are bets for just about everything.

It's already been shown as a false statement made by a guy named "Incarcerated Bob". He's the same guy who said Tajh was a degenerate gambler and was $80k in debt.

I dunno..."Incarcerated Bob" sounds legit to me.
The Internets tells no lies.
I'm no Jameis Winston fan - in fact I've called FSU the most outlaw program in the last 20 years for the way they've handled the Winston allegations and more recently the Karlos Williams situation - but the idea that Winston would shave points in a game the Seminoles could easily lose?
Doubtful.
Also, when on Earth would Tajh Boyd have "shaved" points? He had two bad games last year, against FSU and against South Carolina, and neither looked anything like shaving to me. FSU just looked like an across-the-board meltdown from all hands...if Boyd was shaving, the whole Clemson team was in on it. And South Carolina and those six turnovers weren't exactly on Boyd either. We did look sluggish in the first halves against NC State, Maryland, and BC...again, I suppose that could be "shaving", but honestly...I just don't see it. Boyd passed on the NFL to come back, get his degree, and hopefully raise his draft stock...and then he'd put all that at risk by shaving points for a few grand?
Dubious, at best. Ditto for Winston. I can believe a lot of things from Winston, but that seems...unlikely.
