Clemson DT ranked in McShay's Top 10 prospects

by - Assoc. Editor -

ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay released his latest top 32 prospects for the 2018 NFL Draft and Clemson defensive tackle Christian Wilkins was listed at No. 10 overall and the second defensive lineman chosen behind only LSU's Arden Key.

"A disruptive run defender with the foot speed and quick hands to slip blocks rapidly, Wilkins is a high-motor guy who does a great job of getting his hands up in passing windows," McShay said. "He had 140 tackles (17.5 for losses) and 5.5 sacks the past two seasons, and he already has 3.0 sacks in 2017. His stock has risen considerably from our preseason evaluation."

Wilkins moved up one spot in the rankings with a No. 11 spot previously.

In 2017, Wilkins has 28 tackles and three sacks.
