The Google dictionary defines "poetic justice" as: the fact of experiencing a fitting or deserved retribution for one's actions.

A few recent Clemson sporting events could maybe be considered poetic justice:
- Clemson defense slamming the door on the Gamecock offense after being "Rattled" in 2022.
- The walk off home run vs the coots with the dancing pitcher.
- The bottom of the 9th game tying grand slam vs FSU over the trash talking center fielder.
- Winning 3 games in the NCAAT as the underdog, even in the first one as the higher seed.

Going back some:
- The onside kick vs Bama in the 2016 NC after the one they did in the 2015 title game.
- The 7-peat vs the coots after their trash talking 5-peat.
- The 7-peat vs FSU after Jameis Winston calling Clemson "our house".

Any more?

2019 Championship Game, 10:02 possession starting on Clemson 1 ending on the Alabama 5 to end the game able to walk off with 34 seconds left, 1st and goal.

With Bama being the "greatest team of all time"

Death Valley all night long in 2014 Louisville game. First time Louisville played in the Valley and their coach said during the week he wasn’t concerned about the crowd noise because they had recently played in the dome at Syracuse and “it can’t be any louder than that, can it?” We didn’t wrap it up until the last play and it was one of the loudest games I had been to up to that time from start to finish.
